Shirakawago Rice Ramen
Rice ramen colored with pumpkin powder
Takayama specialty Sukuna pumpkin powder is mixed into the Shirakawago-produced Koshihikari rice powder. No wheat flour or colorants are added. The Shirakawago village is a major tourist site in Japan, which is famous for its rich natural environment and is well known as the world heritage historic villages of Gassho-zukuri. In February 2013, Lake Louise established a factory there by renovating an abandoned elementary school. The factory is equipped with facilities for flour milling and noodle making. Using ingredients grown in its own farm, Lake Louise strives to develop rice powder products for regional activation and food safety.
