Using a glaze copperplate method traditionally found in the Mino area, extremely thin white porcelain is formed and fired at an elevated temperature (1,340 degrees Celsius), which gives it a moist texture. The tiered boxes are appropriate for both special occasions and daily use. The set includes a pair of vermilion red and porcelain white boxes.
