Aromatic scent of shiso leaves
This shichimi pepper is generously made with Tokuyama chili peppers from Gifu Prefecture and shiso leaves from Aichi Prefecture. It features the refreshing, mellow aroma of shiso leaves. We use only carefully selected domestic ingredients, and absolutely no additives or other unnecessary ingredients. The shiso leaves are dried at low temperatures for extended periods to maximize their aroma. It pairs perfectly with hot or cold udon and soba noodles, as well as gyoza, yakitori, rolled omelets, okonomiyaki, and pasta. It also adds a refreshing touch to meat dishes. It won the Central Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry Award at buyer’s room in Japan and is served at the restaurant on the luxury cruise ship “Asuka III.” This is an original shichimi pepper from Konoenya that you won't find anywhere else.
