Shape of Light - Sakura

A young Japanese artist drew refreshing flower patterns on the work of Shiro Hayami, a well-known sculptor.

When Shiro Hayami, a well-known sculptor, desired to express the forms of clay sculpture with bamboo and Japanese paper, this “Shape of Light” series was created. You will enjoy seeing his original colors and shapes blending into objects made of bamboo and Japanese paper. We hope that the sakura (cherry blossoms) motif painted on the shade will please people around the world, as it represents spring in Japan.
