Cool-looking soba box with a bamboo drainboard

The warmth of wood and the presence of bamboo contribute to the serving of soba more appealing. Soba noodles are one of the most representative dishes in Japanese cuisine along with sushi and tempura. After boiling soba, rinse it in water to remove the sliminess and to cool it down. Serve the noodles on the bamboo drainboard set in a wooden or bamboo container. Then take a mouthful of noodles with chopsticks and dip them into the soup. This SOBA Box is designed for eating soba in these ways known as “Mori soba” or “Zaru soba.”
