HINOCO stool is KASHIWA’s product designed to enhance a beautiful lifestyle and it is carefully crafted using Japanese cypress. Japanese cypress has beautiful whiteness, luster and unique fragrance. Cypress is commonly used as a frame timber for a house in Japan because it is difficult to choose high-quality cypress for furniture making. However, our craftsmen carefully select them for our products. The product results of the combining of machine processing technology with skilled craftsmanship to achieve precision. The cypress is boldly bent and reinforced with wooden nails, emphasizing its natural expression. After final assembly, the product is polished thoroughly by hand and our brand mark is engraved on the back of the sheet.
