Marunao Seitosho
Since the early 1900s, Marunao has been operating a family business in Toki City, which is a major area for producing Mino Ware. Marunao is one of a few potteries in Japan that produce thin and lightweight “eggshell” porcelain. In addition, the company is proud of its delicate “copper plate transfer” technique, by means of which motif-printed washi paper is pasted with a brush to transfer the pattern to the cup.
