Kikunoen is a long-established company that started selling tea leaves in 1907. The locally grown tea leaves are processed at the Kikunoen factory. The Hiire (steaming) process, which is important in determining the aroma and the taste of the tea, is performed as listening to the voice of various climate such as the temperature and the humidity on the day. Kikunoen aims to express “Japanese hospitality” through our tea, conveying the heart and the expertise of our artisans.
