Scroll Sekigahara
Spread it wide and enjoy! Modern version Sekigahara battle map
Along with "Waterloo" (Belgium) and "Gettysburg" (USA), "Sekigahara" is said to be one of the three old battlefields in the world that determined the fate of its country’s history. It is no exaggeration to say that the battle of Sekigahara was a climactic end to the warring states period, considered by many to be the most interesting historical period of Japan.
The "Sekigahara Battle Screen" held in the Sekigahara History and Folklore Museum has a story of 113 warlords who survived such turbulent times. This time, we created a scroll that makes it easy for adults and children to enjoy a work that arranges the "Sekigahara battle screen" in a modern way. In addition to all military commanders' affiliations and origins, a commentary is also provided that describes a brief biography.
