ADACHI INDUSTRY is a manufacturer of beauty/barber scissors, razors, refill blades, and medical instruments. With a processing technique that was developed through Seki cutlery making, the company produces originally-designed beauty scissors. A number of regular customers include professional hairstylists both in Japan and overseas. Our motto is “to be creative at all times to create one-and-only products.” In order to answer diverse needs, ADACHI INDUSTRY has been working on technical development sincerely and enthusiastically. We have also launched into the medical field.

- In 2006, our thinning scissors and refill blades received the honorable award from the Japan Institute for Promoting Invention and Innovation in 2006.
- In 2008, the company was selected as one of 300 small/medium enterprises that promote active manufacturing to support the future of Japan by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Small and Medium Enterprise Agencies.
- The following awards were given by the Onogi Science and Technology Promotion Foundation: for scissor blades and their manufacturing method (1994), for thinning razors and their refill blades (2000), for the manufacturing method of barber scissors (2006), and for barber/beauty scissors (2011).
