A pot made with a mix of pumice stone.

The undersea volcanic eruption that occurred in August 2021 caused a large amount of Pumice stones to be released in to the sea, and the shores of Okinawa have been flooded with these stones. These stones have been gravely disrupting human livelihood, but by utilizing it effectively it can become a great resource and help with our lives. If we can reduce the amount of pumice stones, even a little, by using it as raw materials for ceramics, hopefully the beautiful sea and beaches will come back to us again...
This pot was developed in hopes to help with this thought. It is characterized by the glittering brown glass called "bright stone" contained in pumice stones. It's exactly the texture created by nature.
