Minami Gama manufactures handmade pottery ware mainly using Oribe, Shino, Kohiki (powder-sprayed), and Akae (red-figured) methods in the Dachi town located to the east of Toki City, which is a major area for producing Mino Wares. About 10 years ago, Minami Gama shifted to its current handmade style from its original mass production system, while maintaining the same capacity as a factory instead of a studio.
