SHIRAKI TSUNESUKE Co., LTD
SHIRAKI TSUNESUKE was founded in 1835, during the Edo period. When the Nobi Earthquake occured in 1891, we lost our brewery and fell into crisis as the business closed. Yet because of the owner’s strong will and the warm support from people around, the brewery was able to recover. From that experience, we adopted a daruma doll as our company symbol. It expresses our determination to overcome difficulties, as the daruma represents the characteristic of always righting itself no matter how many times it stumbles. In the 35 years since we have decided to stake our future on “aged sake,” we have continued our efforts to produce quality aged sake, which is now one of our representative products. We have been gaining strong support among serious sake fans both domestically and internationally.
