Our company manufactures shichimi togarashi (seven-spice chili peppers) based on the philosophy of "creating a national brand from the Seino region of Gifu that can be used nationwide and around the world." Shichimi togarashi was created 400 years ago as a traditional Chinese medicine. It is a traditional Japanese spice that is essential to Japanese food culture, where people enjoy not only its health benefits but also its spiciness and aroma. The chili peppers at the heart of our shichimi togarashi are from Tokuyama, Gifu Prefecture, a legendary chili pepper that was thought to have been submerged in a dam 30 years ago. While many long-established manufacturers use blends with imported ingredients, we are committed to using domestic ingredients and do not use any artificial seasonings. Our 20 varieties of shichimi togarashi are characterized by their mellow aroma, which maximizes the flavor of each ingredient. We manufacture and sell unique shichimi togarashi.
