World’s lightest and most durable shoehorn finished with Japanese lacquer
SHOE leaf is a light-weight and durable shoehorn made of thermosetting CFRP (carbon-fiber reinforced plastic).
Sakigake: The surface of shoehorn is covered with cross woven carbon fiber, cured under heat, and finished with black lacquer (Japanese Urushi).
Soyoka: The surface of shoehorn is covered with cross woven carbon fiber, cured under heat, and finished with red lacquer (Japanese Urushi).
Kirameki: The surface of shoehorn is covered with cross woven carbon fiber, cured under heat, and finished with transparent lacquer (Shunkei Lacquer from Hida Takayama). The CFRP mesh underlay is visible, and Shunkei lacquer has a characteristic which increases its transparency over time.
