The blade is made of Molybdenum Vanadium Stainless Steel, a rust-resistant material which also stays sharp for a longer period. The knife bolster at the junction between the blade and the handle is welded together without a gap to keep it sanitary. Having the steel plate penetrate through the handle makes the knife more durable and adds a proper weight (full tang knife). The handle is made of durable black pakkawood.
