This shichimi pepper is made with generous amounts of yuzu from Kochi Prefecture. Its rich, bitter-sweet fresh green aroma is its defining feature. Made with carefully selected ingredients grown in Japan, it contains no additives or other unnecessary ingredients. Dried at low temperatures for extended periods, the yuzu not only rinds but also the flesh, maximizing its natural aroma.
Yuzu shichimi pepper “YUOH” complements Japanese dishes like tempura, hot pot, and clear soups, and also pairs well with fried chicken, creamy pasta, and gratin instead of lemon.
It won the Central Federation of Societies of Commerce and Industry Award at buyer’s room in Japan and is even served in the restaurant on the luxury cruise ship “Asuka III.”
