Shichimi pepper is made by generously using Gifu Tokuyama pepper and Aichi green perilla. It is characterized by the refreshing and mellow scent of perilla leaves. As the ingredients, we use Tokuyama red pepper with strong pungency and umami, which can only be cultivated in the natural environment of the Mino region, Gifu Prefecture where the temperature is extremely different. And the fragrant perilla variety grown in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, which is the largest production region in Japan. Only carefully selected domestic ingredients are used for secondary ingredients as well, and no additive or no other extras are used. Long low-temperature drying maximizes the fragrance of the perilla itself. This perilla Shichimi pepper is our completely original and a unique product.
