Tokuyama red pepper is a rare traditional Gifu red pepper that is cultivated only in a limited area of Gifu prefecture. Hot during the day and cold at night are necessary for the growth of Tokuyama pepper. Tokuyama chili peppers are juicy and have a beautiful red luster before harvesting, Shinshu is a product that uses 100% of Tokuyama pepper.
Characterized by 1.6 times spiciness compared to the chill peppers commonly sold in a store, and rich glutamine acid which is the key component of Umami. It has earned a good reputation for being spicier than other companies' pepper.
