Tokuyama pepper variety once sunk together with the village for the construction of a new dam. This product is made from 100 % of the regained Tokuyama pepper variety.
It is a rare and traditional pepper that is cultivated only in a limited area of Gifu prefecture. Hot during the day and cold at night are necessary for the growth of Tokuyama pepper. Tokuyama chili peppers are juicy and have a beautiful red luster before harvesting, “SHINSYU” is a product that uses 100% of Tokuyama pepper.
Characterized by 1.6 times spiciness compared to the chill peppers commonly sold in a store, and rich glutamine acid which is the key component of Umami. It has earned a good reputation for being spicier than other companies' pepper.
